• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). • 0–3 years of post-qualification experience. • Strong exposure to Direct Tax and GST matters during articleship and/or post-qualification employment. • Experience in handling GST and Income Tax notices, assessments, scrutiny proceedings, and departmental interactions. • Sound knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS/TCS, tax audits, and related statutory compliances. • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently with assigned responsibilities. • Handle all Direct Tax and GST matters of the company. • Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including registrations, return preparation and filing, reconciliations, and statutory compliances. • Draft and submit replies to GST and Income Tax notices, queries, and departmental communications. • Handle Income Tax scrutiny assessments, faceless assessments, and related proceedings. • Attend GST and Income Tax departmental hearings and meetings. • Monitor and ensure timely compliance of TDS/TCS provisions, including return filing and reconciliations. • Assist in advance tax computations, tax audits, and income tax return filings. • Coordinate with external consultants, tax advisors, statutory auditors, and tax authorities. • Review tax-related accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance. • Track developments in Direct Tax and GST laws and assess their impact on the business. • Provide updates to management on tax matters, notices and assessments.
